K11 has a gallery. B wanted to take the kids to see this particular exhibit. It was on memes. I don’t know much about them, but the kids seem to love them and B is into them and seems to understand them.
It was a long line to get there. With Covid restrictions, only so many people were allowed in at once. It’s sort of ironic because the restrictions are to limit the number of people in one place at one time but waiting in line, we were all packed in standing there for about an hour with people within a couple of feet of us. It really makes no sense.
We finally got in.

I mean I guess I understand these things, but I don’t know that I really care that much about them. I know they are a huge part of the culture for my kids. I think I’m happy to leave that as a connecting point for B to the kids. He’s got so few I think. This one is good.

Obviously, many of them had Chinese involved. Though there is still a lot of influence from the US in these things. It was an interesting space. I’m not sure it was worth the wait though because really, it was so small. I guess the important thing is that we got the kids out and doing something. That’s been hard lately. Since Covid, we aren’t doing all the things we used to. If I’m honest, it’s more since the discovery of the affair, but Covid definitely didn’t help things.
Still, there are things popping up that are of interest. As things calm down, there are more things we can do.
