So I was one of those parents. In the beginning of the online/in school learning, we had a couple of parents who were confused by the days in and out.
For Bub, he is in the same days every week. For Monster though, it changed week to week. Well, I got the weeks mixed up and ended up not sending her to school on a day that she was supposed to be at school. I thought she was going to school on Tuesday and Thursday, but she was supposed to be going Monday, Wednesday, and Friday that week. Luckily, I didn’t send her to school on day she wasn’t supposed to be there.

At this point, we have 2 weeks about left of school. I have found this hybrid learning to be more stressful than just going to school every day.
Bub has had a difficult time with this, especially with the lack of routine. I am not home during the day to make sure he is doing what he should have been doing. There were a couple mornings he slept in when he should have been in class. I did talk with the vice principal about having Bub come into school, so that I could supervise him.
I made an agreement with him that if he didn’t attend his classes again, he would be coming to school with me and spending the day at school. He was not happy with me about this, but I don’t know what else to do.

Monkey has been home during this time. We did find out this week that Monkey will be having a graduation next week. It looks like they will be splitting up the graduation into houses. They will have a ceremony each night for each house. Monkey’s graduation is going to be on the 17th. The downside is that she is going to have to wear her winter uniform. I was hoping to get her some really nice clothes.
Overall, this week has been pretty uneventful. The kids seem to be over it all. They are not thrilled with the on and off schooling thing. It will be a relief when it is all over.
